Hope you all are having a great start to your week. I was so pumped and honored to be with all of you on Sunday… It is always great to get to see all the wonderful people of DC Metro Church as we believe God for BIG Things Together! You guys Rock!
With that said, we have another reason for all of us to get together this week… This week we will have a re-kickoff to an ALL NEW Midweek Service – 1st Thursday (Remix!) (Awwwwhhh Yeahhhh!) I am a huge fan of our once a month Mid-Week service and now it has just gotten that much better – WITH A NEW LOCATION… You will also see some additional worship added to the flow of the night… Not to mention the new facility is SWEET! It is located right at the King Street Metro Stop in Alexandria (So as you are heading home on the Metro – You can just make a pit stop along the way…) You can find all the details by going to www.dcmetrochurch.org or by clicking here.
It starts at 7pm and I know that you are in for a blessed time as we kick-off Easter Week with COMMUNION this Thursday Night!

Alright, You asked for it, Here it is… A link to the famous DC Metro Mens Basketball Team. These men are warriors for God on and off the court, and you can check out the times and locations of their games on the DC Metro Church website now (under events on the front page)
They are on a three game winning streak and have aquired a Dream Team line up of their own – Literally. If you want to attend a game to cheer them on – Feel Free To Bring Your Pom Poms…

Taryn and a few guys at the office turned me on to this whole facebook thing a few weeks ago, and I confess – I thought it was kinda silly – - At First.
Taryn had connected with some old friends and it got me thinking of some old friends of my own… So, being new to this facebook thing (I know – WEAK!) I thought I might take a gander at my graduating class of 1993… To my surprise, scores of my old buddies were on there.
I started to hesitate when thinking of clicking the ole’ “add a friend” button, when I stopped only to think; “wait a second, I have not seen these people in years…”, “what if they dont remember me, etc.”
Then after a few brief moments with the Lord, I thought, Man I bet Jesus would advise me to “Add Everyone Of Them” – no matter what… Afterall, They are “my friends ” arent they?
John 15:3 “Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.”
“Go After Em…” – I felt…
You never know – maybe you are just who they are needing to talk to, or better yet, maybe they are looking for God and just dont know it… and you are just the person to let them know all that He has done in YOUR LIFE… What He wants to do in THEIR LIFE..
Here is my current 4 step FACEBOOK process:
- ADD them as a FRIEND!
- SHOOT them a message to CATCH-UP!
- INVITE them to CHURCH!
- WATCH their LIFE FLORISH!
So proud of all my FaceBook Friends…

Hey! This weekend we’re kicking off our “Disciple” series, as we study what Jesus meant when he called us disciples.
Another reminder for this weekend: ITS DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME! Sunday morning, March 8th we spring forward, losing an hour of sleep…but for those coming to the 9:30am service, you can get that hour back with an early nap!
It’s going to be a great weekend…Go God!

Hey guys,
Tonite is our Once-A-Month 1st Thursday Service at Church! I hear we have a great evening planned. So if you need a midweek pick-me-up, or you just wanna show God how fired-up you are for HIM – 1st Thursday is the place (tonite is the date).
Service Starts at 7pm – but come when you can and expect God to do GREAT Things!!!
