Was so pumped to read in the Examiner, that the city of Alexandria is getting very serious about the possiblity of putting in a metro stop at Potomac Yards (Oh Yeah!) This would be so sweet for DC Metro Church! Could this be God’s hand?
I have heard that the city council meets this week to vote on wether to put the stop in or not. Let’s all take a second (right now!) to pray and ask God to move on the city council to vote for the Metro Stop to be put in.
Jesus send the metro stop. In Jesus Name!

Today we started off our Sunday morning with a really cool acoustic set and kicked off our ‘Warrior’ series with a magic trick…needle through balloon. No popping action at either service and it was awesome!
My hope is that as this series goes on, you begin to step into that warrior-like faith that’s on the inside of you. God desires you to live a life of faith and to pursue Him all out – 100%. So join us next week as we continue on the warrior series.

Wednesday night the ladies of DC Metro Church came together to launch DC Sisterhood’s ‘Sisterhood Gathering’. I heard the ladies had a great time and my wife, Taryn delivered an awesome message! More on the Sisterhood later…
Special congratulations to all those individuals that were baptized at our First Thursday Service last night. It was exciting to see so many people make a public declaration of their faith in Christ.
I am so excited about baptism this week! A new year, new season, and now new life will begin…a life in Christ. We have several people already signed up to be baptized at our First Thursday Service, this Thursday, February 5th at 7pm. I love how it reads in Romans 6:4, “We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life”.
