Looking forward to my first, 1st Thursday in quite some time tonite (Too Much Travelin’)…

I love the traditional venue that 1st Thursday Provides. It is an exceptional opportunity for us to come together as a Dream Team, and Church Family to: Fellowship, Worship, Pray, and get a Message from God together.

We do this at DC Metro once per month as a part of our Metro Groups… You may think, how is this part of groups - well simple…

Each month we meet on the 1st Thursday (today) of every month together as a church family of believers (Bigger Group), then we go to our weekly Metro Groups (smaller group) for each of the following weeks during the month to discuss the Sunday Morning Message on a Deeper Level (eewww spiritual!)…

This does two big things:

1.) UNIFY: We are all unified around the same message as we learn and grow together.
2.) RELATE: We get to enjoy with deeper relationships with other believers in groups, and add additional relationships in community with 1st Thursday…
3.) PRAY: We rally around common needs of our church, our community, our world… (Powerful!!!)
