Thank God for Family
Family Highlight - Taryn and I are blessed to have great family on both sides… We thank God for the great relationships that we have with all of our family members… This week we had two family members in town and had a great time all week…
With that said, It is so good to see a couple come together that really fit…
My brother-in-law “Dougie” and sister-in-law “Kassie” are just that… We enjoyed having them in town last week as they were able to stay at our home and hang-out during the CLC interns trip to DC…
Kassie (Taryn’s Sister) leads the CLC college program at Celebration Church in Jacksonville. She does a wonderful job of helping these young people explore full time ministry while getting their bachelors degree in Practical Theology. Great Job “Ki Ki” (As Isaac calls her…)
We plan on starting a similar college program at DC Metro this coming summer as train young aspiring ministers about churchplanting, youth ministry, childrens ministry, etc… It should be a great program for young adults who want to explore a full-time call on their lives…
Dougie (Ok Doug to the rest of the world, Dougie to me and “Ga Ga” to Isaac) leads the worship team at Celebration Church and is cutting his first all original album with that team as we speak… It is due out sometime early next year… Dougie also make a mean gumbo (Which he made while he was in-town and of which I ate five different times this week…) Mmmmmm Mmmmmm Good! He led worship this weekend which was also Mmmmm Mmmmm Good!
God gives us many relationships in our lives and I am so thankful for my family and what a blessing all of them have been… Through the good times and even the bad times, it seems as though God sends us individuals that will stick with us through it all…
