Travel Update…

The travels continue and what a journey it has been…  2275 miles later I am back in Jacksonville on this great Thursday night.  It has been a great week so far as we have truly enjoyed our travels as a family.

The Graduation at Regent went very well as I walked across the stage (The final final time!) I felt the release that only a ceremony can fully solidfy.  I truly felt very different at this graduation as I looked back over the years I believe I will actually miss being in the classroom (Call me weird!)  It was also nice to see my many great classmates and Virginia Beach friends at a nice reception that a fellow graduate held for both of us…  Good Times…  Special thanks to Taryn (my wife) for all her incredible support over the years to push me into the kind of time that this degree required…  Love you babe!

After the weekend Taryn, My Mom, Isaac, and myself set out again (in the stine car) for a continuation of our trip from Virginia Beach to Altanta.  In Atlanta on Monday and Tuesday Taryn and I attended the final stage of the ARC Church Planting approval process called the ARC Assessment.  At the assessment the ARC Team expressed great excitement for Washington DC as well as the vision for DCMetroChurch.  We are looking forward to working with them as they lend support in our launch!  Go God!

Wednesday, I was in Birmingham were I had the wonderful opportunity to meet up with Pastor Chris Hodges at Church of the Highlands.  He and “Highlands” have already become a huge blessing for DCMetroChurch as well as me personally.  I thank God that He has sent some great men of God to surround us as we launch!

We are currently back in Jax, actually staying at the beach with a couple of guys on the Launch Team…  I will be doing a wedding this weekend (I love weddings!)

Pray for us,

Go God,

David
