Firsts…

I hope that everyone is off to a great new year with resolutions, goals and such… I know that at the Stine house we are experiencing a lot of milestones or firsts right now with my son Isaac. Already in this short New Year he has experienced his first time of sitting up, first teeth (ouch!), and my personal favorite his first crawl.

All of these great things are happening in our lives with many more to come very soon. In fact we have another first happening this year… We have just announced that we will be starting a new church this year with Celebration Church’s and our family’s full blessing. This is something that we will be talking about much more in the near future, but just to give you a quick scoop: We are starting DC Metro Church in Washington DC in January 2008 and plan to move to Alexandria, Va this Summer.

More to come soon, but pray for us as we make our plans on this God-First for the Stine’s.

I was checking out the LateNite page tonight – becuase I am in DC this weekend (so couldn’t go to LateNite in Jville). I heard your annoucement last week – and was really quite excited.

DC is like a second home to me – and its exciting to know that there is going to be a rockin’ awesome church up here!! It will be nice to have a place to take my co-workers to, and a place to hang out when I’m up here.

You’ll definantly be in my prayers – and you can bet I’ll be telling everyone I know in the DC area about it.

Hiya Pastor D!
First off, your most recent picture of Isaac is soooo cute! I can’t express how awesome & exciting it is to see God calling you and T to DC. You and Taryn have poured out so much here at Celebration & LateNite and have made a HUGE, God-sized eternal impact in so many of the lives at Celebration, LateNite and our staff family. You’ll be incredibly missed, but at the same time the move to DC is such a God thing and really amazing to see God’s plan unfolding. It’s obvious that God’s moving you to new levels of leadership and influence in DC, it’s an exciting time!
