Well after three years, make that thirty one years (It seems), I am finally at the end of my dissertation journey. Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think that I would be completing a Doctoral Program. The defense date that we have been praying for was given to us, so 2pm on December 8th Taryn, Isaac, and I will be at Regent University to defend my dissertation for two hours with my distinguised panel of three doctoral professors (dissertation committee).
I really am looking forward to completing this process due in part to the incredible project that I ahve done my dissertation on. It is none other than the EDJ College of Jacksonville, Florida. Right now we are in year two of the EDJ College that was started to help young aspiring ministers gain the practical skills they need for ministry while obtaining an Associates Degree in Theology. In this program right now are 18 incredible students. Taryn and I are really looking forward to going with these students to NYSUM in December for their New York Missions Trip. By that time I am hoping that EDJ as a Dissertation Project will be completed.
Just keep praying for me to “finish well!”
