Isaac had his first Halloween Trick-or-Treating adventure this afternoon with some of his buddies in their “buy-buy buggy.” We are off to the third annual Family Fun Fest Tonite. We are expecting to encounter about 5000 others who will make the outing their Halloween destination of choice.
Hope you all like Tigger, because we have a little tigger on our hands at the Stine home as you can see!

Last week Taryn, Isaac, and I set out for a weekend afternoon of fun as we adventured to Amelia Island. Only an hour or so from Jacksonville, Amelia is a “quaint” little town that has a great family environment with lots of shops for the girls and lots of food for the guys… I enjoyed the comfort station and a stroll with my son. This thing I am wearing is called the “Baby Bijorn” and let me tell you it is great for moving my little man around. He really gets a kick out of the fact that he can see everyone and everything as we walked around.
You can tell that he is just taking it all in, moment by moment, as if everything was new. To him it truly is “all” new! There is nothing that is dull to him, only exciting and new! I was challenged to see how God probabally wants the same father-son/daughter relationship with Him. He is just taking us through life showing us new stuff everyday. We are on the receiving end just taking it in as He shows us all the great things He wants us to see and learn from …
Just as I caught myself thinking for Isaac, God thinks the same for us, “There is so much out there in store for us that He wants to show us.”

Today has been a great day for relaxing… Taryn and I decided to rent a movie, something we have not done for a while, and played it on our laptop, (pitiful, still no tv in the house…) Dougie and Kassie, rather Uncle Dougie and Kassie came by and checked it out with us and to play with lil’ Isaac… We discussed that both couples liked the name “Josiah” and whoever has the next child (boy) will get the name! Go God! Who will be next?
Speaking of family, this afternoon Taryn and I plan on spending some time at the beach with our lil’ man, Isaac. He is growing up so fast. At five and a half months old, he sure has alot of personality! He has been giving his mother and I some big laughs lately as his little personality rises to the surface. He also seems to be an extreme people person, imagine that.
Other than that, God is good and even though our fridays are for relaxing, we are looking forward to another Great Weekend at Church.
